CEDAR GROVE, N.J., April 26, 2012— Marketing consultant Rosanna Imbriano, owner of RI Consulting in Cedar Grove, N.J., works each day to help companies and non-profit organizations build their sales and profits through the development of strategic alliances. She shares her expertise in a chapter she has written for an upcoming book, “Jersey Women Mean Business! Big Bold Business™ Advice from New Jersey Women Business Owners: Practical Pointers, Solutions, and Strategies for Business Success.” Her chapter is titled “Developing Strategic Alliances to Grow Your Business” and offers practical tips for business owners on how to increase their revenues without spending unnecessary marketing dollars. The book is being published by Woodpecker Press and is due out in the spring of 2012.
Imbriano, an expert in marketing development, assists both small and medium sized businesses boost their sales and become more profitable through the creation of strategic alliances. She was invited to contribute a chapter to the Big Bold Business book to highlight some of the tactics she employs with clients, who wish to build their businesses by partnering in particular areas with other like-minded companies.
“By identifying appropriate strategic partners, companies and organizations can broaden their customer, membership, or referral base. These alliances have the potential to increase revenues, and expand their market visibility without extending their existing marketing budget. It’s all about working smarter and working together,” noted Imbriano, which determines how well-aligned business relationships can benefit all parties involved.
Imbriano is also the marketing director for the Center for Italian and Italian American Culture (CIIAC) based in Cedar Grove, a non-profit organization she has guided to a higher level of visibility, and profitability. Taking on the CIIAC’s challenges was something very personal to Imbriano; she is a native of Italy, speaks fluent Italian, and stays close to her heritage through her work at the CIIAC. The organization’s mission is to promote Italian culture and heritage. Her marketing outreach and inreach efforts are paying off.
“This year’s annual fundraising gala, held last November, was a wonderful success and our marketplace exposure has steadily increased through our strategic alliances in the past few years,” states Imbriano. “The Center is operating at the best level it has experienced in 21 years.”
Imbriano shared some of her turnaround secrets with fellow Italians, when she recently addressed members of the Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Brooklyn; The Federation is comprised of 40 combined organizations. She spoke at the Federation’s meeting in February, discussing marketing strategies she has implemented at CIIAC. She shared examples of the benefits and growth CIIAC has experienced as a result of its increased exposure in the community.
Imbriano served as the Essex chapter president of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners from 2006 to 2008. During her tenure, she started the process of increasing membership until the chapter was designated as the largest one throughout the statewide organization. It was through the organization that she met Donna Thompson, founder of Woodpecker Press and publisher of “Jersey Women Mean Business!
